Stephen~hangin' around after a haircut
It's so late, and I need to be in the bed. Late-night is my "me" time. Tonight was Stephen's first haircut since..Christmas! I love him, but he's truly the worst client I've ever had. Try working on a moving target with sharp scissors in your hand! Eeek! However, I managed to get before and after shots. Don't you think it was worth it? Could he be more adorable? I swear, he is so much like me, it's scary. He loves a fresh haircut (but, he cannot be still long enough to get one) and, he loves new shoes! When he gets a new pair of shoes, he wants to show them to everyone! A few years ago, he had a brand-new pair of Nike Airs. After his aide helped him off the bus, he went straight to the principal's office, stuck his right foot out in front of him and and shook it for him to notice his new shoes. LOL-He is mine alright! If you haven't done so yet, be sure to click in the below entry and check out his Field Trip to Walmart on Friday. We had a big time. ::Yawn:: It's been a super long day. I'm going to hit the pillow! Y'all take care!

Stephen is incredibly beautiful. I like his 'long' hair...but his haircut is adorable! And, aren't we all like that with a fresh haircut and new shoes? Sleep well Mia! Love you :)
he is sooo cute. so so so cute!!!
truly. Angelic like.
hugs to you and stephen. :)
I love the pics, especially the one on the couch. It has a sense of fun and yet a seriousness since it's in black & white. G'nite. :-) ---Robbie
What a Beautiful Young Man Mia!!! Love the haircut. Hope you got some rest.

Awww.. he looks adorable - really handsome - with his new haircut!! I'm like that too.. I LOVE a new haircut. I just hate going to the salon. ICK!! And who doesn't love new shoes? LoL [Oh, wait... I don't!! tehehe...] He's just like his momma. Adorable, through and through. Luv ya, girly! Rest up!
babyshark-thanks! He is an angel most of the time :) I'll hug him for you!
Robbie-Yes, there is something about b& w photos that really capture me.
RC-I'm glad you like the h/c...whew..it's hard to cut his! He moves all over the place!
Freee-yeah, he really is cute w/the long hair too ;o) If only I had time to style it. Also, I have to chase him and almost sit on him every time to 'fix' it.
SloMo- lol-we all know how you really feel about new shoes! :P I hate going to the salon too, I haven't been since November! I cut my own hair Saturday to avoid going. I've been doing house calls for a few clients, I'd be happy to do that for you IF you only lived closer..
Mia - the haircut pictures are wonderful! Look just like my Thom, it's his style too! 'Cept for blond highlights. Umm, how would that go? Umm, maybe I won't ask... Hope you got your sleep covered Looks like a lot of energy in those pictures! Our love, Ayn and all
Ayn-Believe it or not, I've thought about blond highlights! There's no way he'd sit through a foiling, so I'd have to use the little cap with holes in it :) I love this style, it's so hip for him ;) Yes, I slept well..with this picture in mind.
There comes a time in life when hair cuts become "a pain in the butt" That is when the hair on the back of your head grows at amazing speed and length while the top of your head is bare. I go for a quick trim in back and a waxing on top now instead of a real hair cut. i sure wish I still had hair like Stephen's. Hello to by both, Bill.
Oh my gosh, Bill! That must hurt..ouch. I've waxed lots of places on my clients but never the top of one's head. I'll have to suggest that to a few :) My husband would agree with you about how fast the back grows compared to the top. I think his falls on his nose and ears :P
Awww, he's adorable with his fresh haircut! I love showing off new shoes too, except I don't put my foot on top of tables to show them off, too timid for that! lol
Mara! Thanks! lol-Yeah, I think most of us feel that way about shoes. I've been this way all my life. When I was little, mom used to make me take my new shoes off at bedtime...But, I put them beside the bed so I could still see them!
I love his new DO, looks great!
Dallis is the same way with new clothes and shoes too. Even though she's not a "girly girl" she can priss when she gets something new!
Too cute, love this pictures.
Love, Penny
Great haircut, you really are good at that!
Mia, you have REAL talent! I can't imagine trying to cut a moving little boy's hair. I'd be terrified even to try.
A Walmart field trip? LOL!
Mia...that haircut was definately worth the torment! It looks awesome! That's my favorite style. Doug and Parker both have their hair cut the same way. Unfortunately, Parker won't sit still long enough for me to fix it. LOL Stephen is a smart boy to recognize the importance of stylish hair and shoes! =)

Hi Mia... just stopped by your place for a visit. I really liked your entry, especially the pat about the new shoes! :) I can totally relate. In the 1st grade I got a pair of HOT PINK rebook high tops for Christmas. At show-and-tell time, I proudly stood on TOP of my wobbly little desk so that everyone could see! lol Hope you and your son have a great day. -- lindalou
Hi Mia, just stopped by to see if you had any new entries : ) You must be busy... Hope all is well with you and your family. xo
Michelle-Thanks for checkin' in :)
llturtle-I'm on my way to visit your journal! (I'll leave a comment)
Bridgette-Aw, Parker's hair always looks adorable! I think you do a great job!
Andrea-thanks for the compliment. Not really talent, just lots of experience :P
Jan-thanks! You're so sweet :)
Penny-I'd love to see some pics of Dallis, playing dress up. She's SO cute!
