Weekend Project

I have to make this quick and simple..Here is my weekend project. Thing about me is, if you want me to turn it in on time...this is the quality you'll get  :-/

The worst advice I ever received :: Do whatever makes you happy. Follow your heart.

The worst advice I ever gave :: [Ironically]… do what you know is right. Don't trust your emotions.

Go figure

That is interesting Mia, because sometimes following your heart, and I have given and recieved that advice too, is not the best option.  Now, following your HEAD, thinking things out carefully before jumping heartfirst, seems now the better choice...I guess we learn AFTER the fall.

Love you, Penny

LOL I get those peices of advice all the time. I have learned in my short life not to listen to advice and I know I am stubborn anyway so I wouldnt listen good or bad lol Have a good weekend Mia and I hope you and your little sweetie are feeling much better! Thinking of you! Christina!!

mmmh.... These answers beg the question Why? But, I'll just be grateful that you had the opportunity to leave anything at all. :-) ---Robbie

I get it.  The difference is subtle but powerful in the way you approach certain issues. But never, ever disregard that "Spidey-sense" of intuition that crawls up the back of your head. There's a million years of evolution and cross-wired information embedded in there, and when it goes off, you need to listen.

Don't 'cha just hate it when that happens!

Ironic indeed.  Why is 'follow your heart' the worst advice?  I'm sure you still get extra credit for answering both questions.  But I want to know the whys.  [I failed this assignment.  Didn't even TRY to post it.  Running out the door...again...]

That IS ironic.
I skipped this one, because I was gone this weekend.
thanks for sharing. :)

I think this is the BEST answer to Scalzi's weekend assignment that I've seen yet.  Totally.  The worst advice I probably ever received also had to do with following my heart.  And unfortunately, I wish someone else had told me that heart's change.  Ah well... no regrets.

{{{{{Mia}}}}} I know what you mean about not getting to journals and when you do not always being able to leave a comment. I've been playing catch up here in your journal and was very sorry to read that you and my friend Stephen have not been feeling well. I pray you both are on the mend.  I will be praying for you both and for Paul it must be hard for him to see you both ill  {{{{{Mia}}}}} {{{{{Stephen}}}}} {{{{{Paul}}}}}

Mia :) The most happiest of Mother's Day's to you!  Blessings on your son for having given you an eternal future of love, hope, and thanks giving.  Celebrations to you my dear and your special place of honor at His table!  Our love, Ayn and all

Ironic, isn't it.  Those comments are direct opposites of each other and yet they don't work with everybody all of the time.  Life is funny that way.

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day, Mia.  You certainly are most deserving of it!
