1st I want to thank all of you for checking to see if I'm okay! Y'all are so sweet. Here's the answer...NO, I'm not okay!
My AOL journal is NOT okay. I've been trying to post entries and add photos from hometown and/or YGP and just not happening for me. I see that others have been able to post, so I guess it's just me, or my machine, or my aol? I've been in touch with AOL-live-help (thanks fer nuttin') I give up. I was, however able to finally make an entry in my other journal
the title is, "Weathered" Hm, how fitting. Oh, you'll understand, once you get there, see the graphic and read the story (which, btw I was unable to "edit" after I read some of my typos. Then..unable to "save" as well. I am, however, feeling even more "weathered" after trying to post the darn thing since yesterday! SO-I am going to unplug the ol' 'puter and get some much needed rest. I worked double shifts for the last 3 weeks with 4 hrs of respite! That, somehow,
Sorry this is so screwed up, having to do this via IM!
Anyone care to comment? I'll check the comments. Not going to make entries for a loooooooong time :)

Poor Mia! (Can you read this comment? Hmmm?)
Journaling is great, innit? Except when it isn't. (Can you read that, too?)
Oh no!! We can't have our Mia out of commission!!! Did you try updating in Explorer, outside of AoL? I sometimes have to do that. Not sure why. Aol-J is wonky sometimes. I can usually hit "see recent comments" on everyone else's journal.. but it doesn't work in mine. So I have to hit "link to this entry" and view all of them. Pain.. but whatever works, right? Luv you!
Thanks a bunch! Andrea, Slo! I did have to go through Internet Explorer. Now, my big question is, why didn't mr. nice guy-aol helper tell me this today? Hmm? LOL!
Mia, since commenting doesn't seem to be a problem, why don't you just make this area your journal. Oh but the word limits are even more atrocious here. :-p
Bad idea. AOL is wierd lately. My faves list is all out of wack and it's not my computer. They must be saved on a server somewhere. ---Robbie
Another tip: When updating in MIE, be SURE to SELECT ALL and COPY the entire text of your entry BEFORE you sit SAVE. Especially if you've just spent 30 minutes chipping away to meet the 2500 character limit and formatting text, etc. Sometimes after hitting SAVE I get this "owner only" message and when I back up to the previous [add entry] window, IT'S EMPTY - BLANK - ALL WHITE! All that work - gone! So remember: SELECT ALL - COPY - SAVE!
What I do is make my entries on my e-mail, save them and copy and paste them to my journal later. That way, I don't lose my precious entries if AOL is being moody.
